A visit to the Children's Services Council

Jen Dean and William McCoy, 8th graders at Webutuck, visited the Children's Services Council to represent the views of the northeast corner of the county. The CSC wanted to know what issues teens are confronting these days.
William, Jen, and students from Arlington, Beacon, Spackenkill and others, discussed the need for students to have more activities to keep them busy, away from drugs and cigarrettes.

An Impromptu Community Service Project


These teens got together to clean up NECC's back yard and paint the picnic table, which had become covered with graffiti. They did a meticulous job and it looks beautiful! See below for more photos of their hard work. Posted by Picasa
